The Mild Antics se formó en Barcelona en 2016. Andrew Szwejkowski (cantante, letrista y guitarra) y Stephen "Woody" Godfrey (guitarra) han traído el British Rock a la escena de música en vivo en Barcelona. Con una sección rítmica catalana, Darius Pallares (bajo) y José Almendros (batería), sus canciones hablan de temas modernos pero respetando la tradición de Bob Dylan, The Kinks, Nick Cave y Luke Haines. A veces derivan hacia el country, a veces al punk inglés, The Mild Antics nos recuerdan que el rock n roll agudo y profundo todavía sigue vivo.
The Mild Antics formed in Barcelona in 2016. Andrew Szwejkowski (singer, lyricist and rhythm guitar) and Stephen "Woody" Godfrey (guitar) have brought British Rock to the live music scene of Barcelona. With a Catalan rhythm section, Darius Pallares (bass) and José Almendros (drums), they tackle modern themes but in the songwriting tradition of Bob Dylan, The Kinks, Nick Cave and Luke Haines. Sometimes leaning towards country, sometimes towards English punk, The Mild Antics remind us that rock music needn't lose its wit.
Tienen un repertorio con material propio con influencias de la música de los 60 y los 70 pero que trata temas contemporáneos. Dos ejemplos de esas letras actuales, cargadas de ironía y humor ácido son: “David Bowie’s On Sale” y “28-second Cat Video”. Para escuchar letras más clásicas, destinadas a ser un hit prueba con “Oh, Jack”; para algo más oscuro: “Moon” y si buscas algo más romántico: “Better Blue”.
They have a full repertoire of original material which draws upon the music of the sixties and seventies but addresses contemporary themes. "David Bowie's On Sale" and "28-second Cat Video" are prime examples. For classic songwriting, check out "Oh Jack". Something darker, try "Moon". Something more romantic, try "Better Blue".

Andy (cantante) y Steve “Woody” Godfrey (guitarra), son conocidos por sus interpretaciones de canciones de Bob Dylan. Durante los últimos 20 años, le han seguido en sus tours por Europa, y en 2018, aparecieron en “La2 noticias” y “L’informatiu” de TVE en Cataluña.
